Breakfast at our Healdsburg B&B Inn

Without question, breakfast is a highlight of your stay at the Haydon Street Inn. Every morning we offer an amazing three-course breakfast with Wolf Coffee (roasted nearby), fresh orange juice, and exotic tea. On Sunday, breakfast transforms into a champagne brunch!

John, a former executive chef, likes to get creative. He might offer a tasty omelet or quiche, Eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast or Bananas Foster pancakes. The entrée is served with bacon, Canadian bacon, or sausage (all homemade) and is accompanied with homemade scones, muffins, or other baked goodies.

Need to leave early? No problem. We prepare a to-go breakfast for early departures.

Special diet? We have you covered. With 48 hours notice, we can prepare a special meal to meet your particular dietary needs.

Cookies and refreshments are offered each afternoon.

At 5:30 p.m. we host a wine reception to showcase our homemade olives, olive oil that we press in the fall, and other things we grow and make from our property. We like to share local wines with delicious the munchies, and sometimes offer pizzas from our wood-fired oven. It’s a good chance to get to know other guests and share your day’s adventures.

From the Tuesday after Memorial Day until the end of August, enjoy the town’s weekly free concert (Tuesdays from 6-8 pm).

The inn was also recently recognized by Sonoma County as recipient of the Excellence in Food Safety award.

Ahh, Healdsburg …where to start.

Just 65 hours north of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, the town of Healdsburg has become a crown jewel of California’s Wine Country. Small, friendly and sophisticated, it has a unique mix of European flair and small-town Americana.

Visitors are awed by giant redwoods downtown and the lazy Russian River embracing historic neighborhoods. Downtown shops, galleries, outdoor eateries and the Plaza – which is the town’s heart – make for great people-watching and unexpected discoveries.

The fabulous wineries of the Dry Creek, Alexander, and Russian River Valleys – California’s prime grape-growing regions – are only a few minutes away by car or bicycle. A favorite daytrip is tasting wines and enjoying a picnic overlooking the beautiful, serene vineyards surrounding Healdsburg. It’s no wonder Sonoma County is called the Tuscany of California!

The Healdsburg area is also well known for world-class restaurants, great bicycling and hot-air ballooning, plus swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing at the Russian River and Lake Sonoma.

In the mood for a drive? Leisurely jaunts through breath-taking scenery will bring you to ocean beaches, old-growth redwood forests, farmers markets seemingly everywhere, Mendocino County and the Napa Valley.

Come check it out for yourself!
