Featured Projects

Val Vista Lakes Improvements

Gilbert, AZ 2025

This neighborhood enhancement project focused on rebuilding selected residential driveways, ADA corner ramps, and sidewalks to meet full accessibility standards. Crews removed and replaced existing curbs, aprons, and valley gutters as part of the roadway reconstruction, improving overall functionality and pedestrian safety. Tight coordination around active water and sewer mains ensured utility protection throughout construction—even though no new waterlines were laid, every concrete removal and utility adjustment was meticulously planned to prevent service interruptions.

Throughout the work, the team kept residents in the loop with clear signage, phased work zones, and regular updates to minimize disruption and maintain safe access. By blending rigorous planning with hands‑on execution, the project delivered seamless concrete upgrades and a refreshed streetscape that enhances mobility and compliance across the Val Vista Lakes community.

Pima & Happy Valley Road Improvements

Scottsdale, AZ 2024

The Pima & Happy Valley Road Improvements project widened Pima Road from McDowell Road to Krail Street and Happy Valley Road from Pima Road to Alma School, while installing the Granite Reef Watershed regional storm drain from Thomas Road to the Salt River. The scope also delivered median landscaping from Via de Ventura to Loop 101 and upgraded key intersections at Via Linda and 90th Street—boosting corridor capacity, enhancing regional mobility, improving safety and pedestrian features, mitigating flood risks, and unifying the roadway’s aesthetic.

Reconstruction and widening included two new roundabouts, 13,333 linear feet of wet utilities, new traffic signals, and a phased traffic‑control plan backed by public outreach. Crews installed eight cast‑in‑place box culverts, twelve miles of curbline, and five miles of sidewalk. Critical coordination with the Flood Control District of Maricopa County and the Arizona State Land Department phased the box‑culvert installations across Pima Road, and Haydon integrated schedules for seven third‑party utility firms into the overall plan. The project delivered seamless infrastructure upgrades with minimal community disruption.

Cavasson Onsite Infrastructure & Crossroads East Drainage Improvements

Scottsdale, AZ 2021

This project delivered major drainage upgrades across the Cavasson Onsite development and the Crossroads East basin. Scope included a concrete‑lined channel, flood walls, energy dissipators, and export of 300,000 CY of basin earthwork. Crews installed dual 60″ storm‑drain pipes and performed jack‑and‑bore casing for sewer, water, and communications lines under tight site constraints.

Working alongside multiple stakeholders—from Nationwide Realty Investors and Grayhawk Development to the City of Scottsdale—the team managed heavy equipment and complex sequencing to keep adjacent residential and commercial areas dry and operational. The new infrastructure now reliably conveys stormwater through a high‑growth corridor, reducing flood risk and supporting future development.

Deer Valley Road Improvements

Scottsdale, AZ 2018

Over 1.5 miles from Black Mountain Road to Cave Creek Road, this widening project added six traffic lanes, raised medians, bike lanes, sidewalks, streetlights, and new drainage structures. Landscape pockets and pedestrian crossings were integrated to balance vehicular capacity with community connectivity. Maintaining traffic on this key Desert Ridge corridor required phased work zones and night‑shift crews. The upgraded roadway now moves higher volumes more safely, connects neighborhoods to retail centers, and lays groundwork for future transit and multimodal enhancements.

Gilbert Road, Baseline to Guadalupe Reconstruction

Gilbert, AZ 2019

This one‑mile rebuild replaced worn asphalt, reconstructed pedestrian ramps and driveways, installed new medians, and laid 4,700 LF of 16″ ductile‑iron waterline. To keep five of seven lanes open, crews used innovative phasing and temporary striping. Upgraded pavement, ADA‑compliant sidewalks, and a modern water distribution line now support downtown traffic and growth — all delivered without closing the main gateway from US‑60.

As someone who has lived in Troon Village since 1999, I just had to take a minute to write and say that I am absolutely blown away by the work that is being done! It seems to be around the clock and moving forward constantly, with so many crews! I see progress absolutely every day when I leave my house and go down that hill. The inconvenience has been kept to an absolute minimum, at least the best they can do. I just wanted to say how impressed I am and how relieved I am that this project has been so well run.
