PHOENIX, ARIZONA (June 17, 2022) – Haydon Companies, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and was recognized as ENR Southwest’s contractor of the year, is pleased to announce it has hired construction industry leader David Knochenhauer as Director of Quality Assurance. Knochenhauer will work directly with partners, clients, and market sector leaders to deliver quality projects throughout Arizona and the southwest.
Knochenhauer brings over 26 years of construction experience, expertise, and client relationships. Prior to his position at Haydon, Knochenhauer served in various executive leadership roles and managed a wide variety of projects at previous firms. Knochenhauer has many certifications, including Scrum Master Certification, Kaizen Institute Yellow and Green Belt, and various ACI Certifications.
Knochenhauer will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our quality department. Chief Operating Officer, Matt Carpenter adds, “As Haydon continues to grow and build larger and more complex projects, we saw a need to expand our quality assurance program. David brings a wealth of experience building and leading successful quality departments, and we are excited about his new role here at Haydon.”
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, participating in barbecue competitions, and hunting & fishing.
