The Equipment & Central Purchasing Department supports Haydon’s operations by managing and servicing its extensive fleet. This department brings a culture of excellence and attention to detail to keep the fleet operating at top levels. The Equipment & Central Purchasing Department is working diligently in order to expand our equipment department as well as our company-wide self-performance capacity.

Each week our field mechanics and craft personnel expertly service our equipment to maintain our backlog and support our job sites.

Rental Equipment Management

Haydon manages and maintains quality control for all of Haydon’s rental equipment through the Equipment & Central Purchasing Department.

Equipment Mobilization

The Equipment & Central Purchasing Department manages the mobilization of 150+ pieces of equipment to over 20 Haydon construction sites across the Valley every day.

Over the past 30 years, Haydon has accumulated over 150 pieces of equipment; from our first water trucks, blades, and loaders purchased in 1999, to our new scrapers purchased in 2022, we are proud to service every machine and piece of Haydon’s history in our Equipment & Central Purchasing Department.

Heavy Civil Construction Services

Haydon’s Heavy Civil Division plans and constructs the infrastructure, highways and roadways that we count on everyday. By focusing on service, value and safety, we have a fully-equipped fleet of heavy machinery and team who self-performs 80% of the work.

Rapidly Expanding for the Future

In the past two years alone, the Equipment & Central Purchasing Department has:

  • Doubled its size to accommodate the growth of the Haydon fleet, equipment, and vehicles
  • Updated its equipment fleet with six new excavators, two new motor-graders, and five 267-scrapers
  • Expanded with a small batch plant and two equipment trucks
