Finding Her Way Into Construction
“I was always fascinated by it. Even though I first went into the medical field, the idea of construction never left me. When I met people who worked in construction safety, everything clicked. I realized I could combine what I learned about protecting people with a career that’s hands-on, fast-paced, and always changing.”
What’s one safety tip every young worker should carry?
“One of the best pieces of advice I ever received was ‘See something, say something, and do something.” Don’t assume someone else will handle it. You have a voice, and using it can protect you and the people around you.”
